CALCAST® 300

CALCAST® 300 is a 100% α - hemi hydrate.The plaster is calcined in a so called autoclave under steam pressure which gives a different kind of crystal structure.It needs less water to hydrate and therefore the hardened end product is much harder than that of traditional plaster. It is mostly used for ;

• casting decorative items
• master moulds
• building chemistry as an expansive agent for high alumina based mortars
• general use where an extreme hardness is required
